Our Founder — Steven B. Katz
Sterling Care Home Staffing was founded in 2009 by Steven B. Katz, JD, MBA, LLM, MPH, CPA, CMC, CDP, FACHE, SHRM-SCP & Advanced Aging Life Care Professional.
Steve has a deep commitment to and understanding of the local communities we serve, not only as a resident of the area but also as a member and Chair of the Town of Greenwich Commission on Aging. He co-chaired Greenwich’s Age-Friendly and Dementia Friendly certification initiative with the AARP, the World Health Organization, and Dementia Friendly America, where the Town of Greenwich became the first dually certified Age and Dementia-Friendly community in the State of Connecticut. Steve is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Healthcare Policy and Management at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Steve is dedicated to being an asset to the aging community in and around Fairfield County. Among his many credits, Steve is proud to be a Certified Care Manager, an Advanced Aging Life Care Professional, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional.
